WSMA is proud to host the Missoula Children’s Theatre Camp “Robin Hood” at Wyoming Middle School on November 12- 17

Missoula Children’s Theatre travels the world producing one-week theatre residencies, and we are thrilled to bring their expertise and enthusiasm to Wyoming for our younger students to experience the theatre!

The time is simply long ago and the place is the magical, mythical Sherwood Forest. Our hero, Robin Hood, and his Merry Band of colorful characters seek the help of the Foresters, manage to waylay the Aristocrats and set out to rescue Maid Marion and Marion’s Maid. Prince John tries to stay calm as his Sheriff, guards and horsemen botch Robin’s arrest thanks to the aromatic Skunks. Wacky humor and an original score add to this fresh new look at a legendary outlaw in a legendary time.

Theatre Camp Information

This camp is only for Wyoming students in Kindergarten – 6th grade.

This camp will run November 12 – 16, Monday – Friday from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. There are two shows on Saturday, November 17 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.

If you register and pay for the camp, your student is guaranteed a role in “Robin Hood”.
All students will audition for their individual part/role on Monday between 4 – 6 p.m. After the audition, some students will stay for rehearsal that evening and some will be finished for the day.
After the students learn their roles, they will receive a rehearsal schedule for the rest of the week (Kindergarten and 1st graders will not stay past 6 p.m. on school nights).

Students MUST be available for the FULL WEEK of rehearsals – they will not be excused for appointments or practices when they are called to rehearse.

Students do NOT have to prepare anything for the audition! The Missoula directors will ask students to act and sing various things, but no advance preparation is necessary – just bring a smile and good attitude.

The cost to participate is $160 per student.

This includes:
- A full week of rehearsals with professional directors
- Two fully produced musical performances – with a full set and costumes from Missoula
- Snacks during every rehearsal break time,
- Pizza dinner between the two shows on Saturday
- Two tickets to each show (additional tickets will be available for purchase), and an amazing experience to learn about and appreciate the world of musical theatre!

- When you register and pay for your child, they are guaranteed a role in the production. They will audition for their specific role on Monday, November 12.
- Your child’s rehearsal schedule will depend on the role they are given (Kindergarten and 1st graders will not be needed on Tuesday or after 6 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday), and therefore will not be available until after the first rehearsal and audition on Monday.
- Students are required to be at every rehearsal that they are called to. Lack of attendance could result in student being removed from a role. Please don’t register for this camp if you have any conflicts that week or if you know you cannot attend a show on Saturday.
- Parents or guardians are responsible for your child’s transportation to and from Wyoming Middle School for rehearsals and the performances.
- In order to be officially registered you must click the PayPal link and receive a PayPal confirmation that you have paid.

My student has permission to attend the audition for “Robin Hood”, on November 12, from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. at Wyoming Middle School Fay Auditorium. I understand that my student may need to attend rehearsal from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. every day Monday through Friday. They will also need to be available for performances on Saturday, November 17.

I understand that students will not be excused from rehearsals or performances for practices, appointments, etc., but must keep the week completely free for this residency week.
